Who are the Queens?
Mahjong Queens is a Louisville-based group of four best friends passionate about bringing people together through the game of American Mahjong.
Mahjong Queens mission is to teach and grow the love of Mahjong while fostering connection, laughter, and community around the Mahj table. Whether through beginner-friendly, advanced classes, or lively private parties, Mahjong Queens create welcoming experiences for players of all skill levels.

👋🏼 Hey y’all! I’m Anna, one of the four Mahjong Queens!
🤍 I’ve been married to my sweet Christopher for over 11 years and we have three girls; Ellie (7), Kate (4), and Poppy Jean (2) 💗💗 🀄️ I was hooked after my first game - but it took me around 20 games to finally get a Mahj! 😅 I have really grown to love the 2025 card - I think the NMJL did a great job refreshing the lines. My new fave line is FFFF 2468 222 222! 🎀 I currently have three sets - the Cheeky Set from The Mahjong Line, the Spring line from Oh My Mahjong and a pink Amazon set and I love interchanging between them all - keeps me fresh!✨ You can catch me regularly playing on a weeknight with my bestie gals, a siamese match with my hubby, or teaching y’all at a private party or a MQ class! I have also loved learning the history of Mahjong and studying up on the rules 🤓 💖 Hope to meet you soon in person xoxo

👋🏼 Hi I am Macie, one of the four Mahjong Queens, from Louisville, KY! 🤍 I’ve been married to Drew for 10 years and we have two girls; Emmie Jean (6) & Ruby (4) 💗💗 🀄️ My love for Mahjong began after my mother in law taught our family. I immediately fell in love and haven’t stopped playing!! Shout out to Mandy! 🎀 I currently own the La Fete Oh My Mahjong set and really really love the beautiful pastel colors of the tiles and mat.✨ I enjoy playing Mahj on a weeknight with my girlfriends, a random mid afternoon before carpool, or a game of siamese with Drew! I most recently enjoyed playing beachside on 30A ☀️ and in the mountains of Colorado 🏔️ I am so elated that you are here and hope to meet you all through our classes and private parties 🤗 🎉

Hello everyone! 💁🏻♀️ I am Kailyn, one of the four Mahjong Queens, from Louisville, KY! 🏡 I’ve been married to Jarrick for almost 12 years and we have two girls and one boy; Carolyn (7), Harper (5) and Silas (2.5)💗💗💙 🀄️ Our OG queen, Macie, taught me how to play Mahjong and I’ve been obsessed ever since! I quickly bought my set and began teaching and playing with lots of friends and family members! 🎀 I currently have the Spring Oh My Mahjong set, which is now retired 🥲, but is still available on Anthropologie!✨ My other hobbies include playing tennis 🎾, reading 📖 and often having karaoke dance parties with my kids 🎤 . I love teaching people how to play mahjong, and have quickly shared the love of Mahj with my husband and many extended family members! Jarrick and I love playing two person mahjong (Siamese) any chance we can 👏🏼.

👋🏻 Hey girlies!! My name is LT, short for Lindsey-Taylor, one of the four Mahj queens! 🤍 I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Woody, for almost 11 years! We were first boyfriend and girlfriend in the 5th grade at CAL before really dating our senior year 🥰 We have 3 amazing kids-Ford (6), George (4) and Mary Abbott (2)! 🀄️ Once our girl Macie taught us, I was HOOKED!! I hosted my first “Merry Mahjong” party this Christmas and have decided it’s going to be an annual thing! I love Mahjong because it brings people together! 🎀 I currently have the Taylor tiles from Oh My Mahjong and they are a chinoiserie girlie’s dream! I was the last of the queens to get my set because it was back ordered for so long and it was worth the wait! I also have the Charleston travel set and LOVE it for our trips! ✨ You can catch me playing Mahj with my bestie girls once the kids go down, traveling with my family 🧳, watching Bravo 📺 while doing the dishes, switching out something at my house 🖼️ piddling around (IYKYK) or being outside with my kids as a stay-at-home mom (my dream)!
